Helping Businesses Thrive
It is one of the primary goals of the RRRC to help businesses thrive within the region. As entrepreneurs are seeking to start or expand their business, the RRRC can provide assistance in a variety of ways from developing a business plan and financial projections, providing information on multiple funding and financing programs, developing a financial strategy, providing a link to business resources, and assisting in securing the money to complete a project. We roll up our sleeves and do what it takes to help our business community as we want to encourage an entrepreneurship culture and have high quality jobs available within the region.
We also support the development of a youth entrepreneurship culture within the region. We want our children to consider developing their own businesses and therefore support youth entrepreneurship, career and technology camps and initiatives. In 2014, the RRRC served on the Leadership Advisory Committee for the first-ever Marketplace for Kids event in Grafton – serving the northern Red River Valley. On May 1, 2014, more than 600 kids convened for an action-packed day to promote entrepreneurship.
