Pembina and Walsh County Job Development Authorities (JDA) will be bringing their 2015 training series to area businesses.
Topics to be covered include leadership, management, challenging negative attitudes, managing stress, team-building and Microsoft® Excel. The eight seminars start in February and conclude in April. Class locations are Cavalier, Grafton, and Park RIver.
“People in the rural areas are the backbone of our region and helping them succeed is first and foremost the mission of TrainND Northeast,” said Edie Armey, Director.
Armey continues, “We are excited to return to Pembina and Walsh counties with another top-notch training series. Thanks to the JDA sponsorships, we are able to keep the class costs affordable for everyone. Better yet, research proves that training employees improves morale, increases efficiency, and ultimately improves your bottom line.”
Presenters include Kathleen “Tootsie” Gasparini, Terri Horpedahl, Jolie Johnston, Grace Kurtz, and Kyle Ternes. All trainers are picked for their applicable experience, patience, and winning attitudes,” Armey added.
Some classes have size restrictions so early registration is strongly encouraged. Computer courses are limited to a maximum of 12 per class. A brochure with more detailed descriptions and an online registration system with online payment process are available through www.lrsc.edu/workforce, or call 701-662-1578 for further details.
